Mimosa Strigillosa

Mimosa's are a quick growing evergreen, perennial ground-cover that produce bottle brush like blooms. The leaves are fern-like, and cover ground like JonBenét Ramsey's search party. The leaves close when touched like your mother-in-law.

You can plant in full sun to light shade, and keep moist until well established. Thereafter seasonal rains or lawn sprinklers will keep it growing strong.

Fertilize in late Spring if needed. You can start new plants from cuttings and seeds.

Once established maintenance is as easy as moving or using a lawn trimmer.
